# GermanFast vs Üben

The clearest difference is update cadence: Üben at every 5 days against GermanFast's every 7 months. GermanFast's advantage is iOS requirement (12.0 vs 16.4). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. GermanFast sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $24.99 per 7 days and Üben sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

GermanFast ships an update every 7 months, Üben every 5 days. The most recent releases landed on October 30, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
