# GermanFast vs Learn German Beginners

The clearest difference is update cadence: Learn German Beginners at every 2 months against GermanFast's every 7 months. GermanFast's advantage is iOS requirement (12.0 vs 17.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. GermanFast sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $24.99 per 7 days and Learn German Beginners sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

GermanFast ships an update every 7 months, Learn German Beginners every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 6, 2026 and October 5, 2026 respectively.
