# Solune vs StarReel

The clearest difference is ads: StarReel at none against Solune's shown. StarReel also leads on review sentiment (11% vs 0%) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 15.6). On price, rating, ratings volume and update cadence there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Solune sells 9 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per 7 days and StarReel sells 8 in-app purchases, starting at $9.90 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Solune holds the better App Store score, 1.8 against 1.6. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 20 and 13 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 0% of Solune's written reviews are positive against 11% of StarReel's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Solune ships an update every 3 weeks, StarReel every 2 months. Both last shipped on November 5, 2026.
