# ZoomCam vs Conjure Camera

The clearest difference is monetization model: Conjure Camera at free against ZoomCam's subscription. Conjure Camera also leads on review sentiment (67% vs 33%). ZoomCam's advantage is ratings volume (291 vs 45) and iOS requirement (15.6 vs 18.6). On price, rating, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. ZoomCam sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per 7 days and Conjure Camera sells 5 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.6 for ZoomCam against 4.7 for Conjure Camera. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: ZoomCam has 291 ratings behind it against 45, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 33% of ZoomCam's written reviews are positive against 67% of Conjure Camera's.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly every 9 days. The most recent releases landed on October 19, 2026 and October 21, 2026 respectively.
