# Train VPN vs BlackVault VPN

The clearest difference is update cadence: BlackVault VPN at every 2 weeks against Train VPN's monthly. On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Train VPN sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $5.99 per month and BlackVault VPN sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
