# Fluxen vs Stride

The clearest difference is update cadence: Stride at fortnightly against Fluxen's every 3 months. Fluxen's advantage is iOS requirement (16.6 vs 26.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Fluxen sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per month and Stride sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Fluxen ships an update every 3 months, Stride fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 30, 2026 and October 31, 2026 respectively.
