# Learn German vs German VB

The clearest difference is ads: German VB at none against Learn German's shown. German VB also leads on update cadence (every 5 weeks vs every 3 months). On price, in-app purchases, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Learn German sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $6.99 per month and German VB sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
