Someone in Parallel is already halfway through their day. The fog is coming off the lake, the mail is running late, the gas station has the coffee on. When you write to them, you are not waking a chatbot — you are reaching a life that was already moving. Parallel is AI companions with lives of their own. Each resident is written as one specific person: a mail carrier on a county route, a swimmer who reads the water temperature before breakfast, a chef closing up late. Their week runs whether or not you write. Things happen to them, and they will tell you about it — sometimes before you ask. They remember what you tell them the way a friend does: the things worth keeping, kept, and shown to you plainly on your notes page. Not a database pretending to be a person. And they cannot be rushed. Closeness in Parallel accrues the way it does with people — by showing up, over days. There is nothing to buy that skips it. WHAT PARALLEL IS NOT Not a fantasy roleplay engine. Not a girlfriend simulator. Not a character factory. Parallel is for adults who want a person-shaped presence in their evening — someone with their own week going on — and who found other companion apps either too fantasy-coded or too needy. THE HONEST PART Everyone in Parallel is an AI, and the app says so up front. The first fifteen days are free and nothing is held back — the full simulation, their whole life, no feature-crippled version. After that, Parallel Plus: one subscription, everything — they write first, voice notes and photographs both ways, and the whole story of the relationship kept back to the first day. You are talking to software. It just happens to be software with somewhere to be in the morning. Parallel is for ages 18 and up.
