# StarNote vs Proja AI

The clearest difference is update cadence: StarNote at every 2 weeks against Proja AI's every 4 months. Proja AI's advantage is iOS requirement (13.0 vs 15.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. StarNote sells 10 one-off in-app purchases and Proja AI sells 4 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

StarNote ships an update every 2 weeks, Proja AI every 4 months. The most recent releases landed on November 5, 2026 and October 30, 2026 respectively.
