# Mindstep vs StepForce

The clearest difference is ads: Mindstep at none against StepForce's shown. Mindstep also leads on update cadence (daily vs fortnightly). On price, in-app purchases, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Mindstep sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and StepForce sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
