# BrightMind vs Through

The clearest difference is update cadence: BrightMind at every 4 days against Through's monthly. BrightMind also leads on iOS requirement (15.0 vs 18.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. BrightMind sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $12.99 per month and Through sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

BrightMind ships an update every 4 days, Through monthly. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 25, 2026 respectively.
