# Ball Loop vs Root Drop

The clearest difference is iOS requirement: Ball Loop at 15.0 against Root Drop's 17.0. On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Ball Loop sells 10 one-off in-app purchases and Root Drop sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Ball Loop ships an update weekly, Root Drop fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 30, 2026 and October 31, 2026 respectively.
