# DiveGenius vs DiveSight

The clearest difference is review sentiment: DiveSight at 100% against DiveGenius's 50%. DiveSight also leads on rating (5.0 vs 3.5) and ratings volume (31 vs 4). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. DiveGenius sells 5 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per 7 days and DiveSight sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

DiveSight holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 3.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: DiveSight has 31 ratings behind it against 4, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 50% of DiveGenius's written reviews are positive against 100% of DiveSight's.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly weekly. The most recent releases landed on October 30, 2026 and November 5, 2026 respectively.
