# Hadaf vs Basawad

The clearest difference is update cadence: Hadaf at fortnightly against Basawad's monthly. Hadaf also leads on ratings volume (8 vs 1). Basawad's advantage is iOS requirement (13.0 vs 15.4). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 5.0 for Hadaf against 5.0 for Basawad. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Hadaf has 8 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Hadaf ships an update fortnightly, Basawad monthly. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 6, 2026 respectively.
