# Auto vs Endless Summer

The clearest difference is rating: Endless Summer at 4.8 against Auto's 4.2. Endless Summer also leads on update cadence (every 2 days vs every 2 weeks). Auto's advantage is review sentiment (100% vs 80%) and iOS requirement (16.0 vs 18.5). On price, ratings volume, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Auto sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per month and Endless Summer sells 3 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Endless Summer holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.2. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 15 and 25 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 100% of Auto's written reviews are positive against 80% of Endless Summer's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Auto ships an update every 2 weeks, Endless Summer every 2 days. The most recent releases landed on October 7, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
