# Flex Player vs QR Toolkit

The clearest difference is ads: Flex Player at none against QR Toolkit's shown. QR Toolkit's advantage is update cadence (weekly vs fortnightly) and iOS requirement (14.0 vs 18.0). On price, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Flex Player ships an update fortnightly, QR Toolkit weekly. The most recent releases landed on October 8, 2026 and September 28, 2026 respectively.
