# Gistvox vs Isla Conecta PR

The clearest difference is monetization model: Gistvox at free with in-app purchases against Isla Conecta PR's subscription. Gistvox also leads on ratings volume (44 vs 2) and update cadence (every 2 weeks vs every 5 weeks). Isla Conecta PR's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and rating (5.0 vs 4.8). On price, in-app purchases, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Gistvox sells 3 one-off in-app purchases and Isla Conecta PR sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Isla Conecta PR holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Gistvox has 44 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Gistvox ships an update every 2 weeks, Isla Conecta PR every 5 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 21, 2026 and October 15, 2026 respectively.
