# Gistvox vs Next8Count

The clearest difference is ads: Next8Count at none against Gistvox's shown. Next8Count also leads on monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases) and rating (5.0 vs 4.8). Gistvox's advantage is ratings volume (46 vs 1). On price, update cadence, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Gistvox sells 3 one-off in-app purchases and Next8Count sells 3 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Next8Count holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8.
