# Gistvox vs Umtu

The clearest difference is ads: Umtu at none against Gistvox's shown. Umtu also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.8) and update cadence (every 5 days vs every 2 weeks). Gistvox's advantage is ratings volume (46 vs 2). On price, in-app purchases, monetization model and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Gistvox sells 3 one-off in-app purchases and Umtu sells 4 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Umtu holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8.
