# SCPHub vs 1225

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: 1225 at none against SCPHub's 3. 1225 also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.6). SCPHub's advantage is update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 8 months) and ratings volume (5 vs 1). On price, review sentiment, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. SCPHub sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per 7 days. 1225 asks for nothing beyond the download.

1225 holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: SCPHub has 5 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews split almost evenly too, at 100% and 100% positive.

SCPHub ships an update every 3 weeks, 1225 every 8 months. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 23, 2026 respectively.
