# Echo Chain vs OutBrick

The clearest difference is price: OutBrick at Free against Echo Chain's $3.99. OutBrick also leads on update cadence (every 2 days vs every 3 weeks) and ratings volume (13 vs 2). Echo Chain's advantage is ads (none vs shown). On rating, review sentiment, in-app purchases and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

OutBrick is free to download; Echo Chain costs $3.99 up front. Echo Chain sells 7 one-off in-app purchases and OutBrick sells 10 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 5.0 for Echo Chain against 4.9 for OutBrick. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: OutBrick has 13 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews split almost evenly too, at 100% and 100% positive.

Echo Chain ships an update every 3 weeks, OutBrick every 2 days. The most recent releases landed on September 27, 2026 and October 15, 2026 respectively.
