# Yarimo vs Stepwise

The clearest difference is update cadence: Stepwise at daily against Yarimo's every 8 days. Stepwise also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.7) and iOS requirement (15.1 vs 18.5). Yarimo's advantage is ratings volume (18 vs 2). On price, review sentiment, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Yarimo sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month and Stepwise sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Stepwise holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Yarimo has 18 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews split almost evenly too, at 100% and 100% positive.

Yarimo ships an update every 8 days, Stepwise daily. The most recent releases landed on October 25, 2026 and October 7, 2026 respectively.
