# DaterGraph vs Prelude

The clearest difference is monetization model: DaterGraph at free with in-app purchases against Prelude's subscription. Prelude's advantage is ads (none vs shown). On price, rating, review sentiment and ratings volume there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. DaterGraph sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per 7 days and Prelude sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $19.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 5.0 for DaterGraph against 5.0 for Prelude. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 1 and 1 respectively. Written reviews split almost evenly too, at 100% and 100% positive.

DaterGraph ships an update every 2 weeks, Prelude fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on September 26, 2026 and October 2, 2026 respectively.
