# Hit VPN vs VPN MAX Pro

The clearest difference is rating: VPN MAX Pro at 4.0 against Hit VPN's 1.6. VPN MAX Pro also leads on monetization model (free with in-app purchases vs subscription). Hit VPN's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and update cadence (every 3 days vs every 3 weeks). On price, ratings volume, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Hit VPN sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $6.99 per 7 days and VPN MAX Pro sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

VPN MAX Pro holds the better App Store score, 4.0 against 1.6. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 5 and 3 respectively.

Hit VPN ships an update every 3 days, VPN MAX Pro every 3 weeks. Both last shipped on November 5, 2026.
