# Apex VPN vs Note TCA

The clearest difference is update cadence: Note TCA at weekly against Apex VPN's every 2 months. Note TCA also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.6). Apex VPN's advantage is ratings volume (692 vs 1) and chart position (#204 vs unranked). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Apex VPN sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $12.99 per 7 days and Note TCA sells 5 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Apex VPN ships an update every 2 months, Note TCA weekly. The most recent releases landed on October 13, 2026 and September 21, 2026 respectively.
