# Apex VPN vs DuoShare

The clearest difference is review sentiment: DuoShare at 100% against Apex VPN's 67%. DuoShare also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.5) and update cadence (weekly vs every 2 months). Apex VPN's advantage is ratings volume (697 vs 11). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Apex VPN sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $12.99 per 7 days and DuoShare sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

DuoShare holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.5.
