# Appvia VPN vs EncryptIt VPN

The clearest difference is update cadence: EncryptIt VPN at every 4 days against Appvia VPN's every 3 weeks. Appvia VPN's advantage is iOS requirement (13.0 vs 16.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Appvia VPN sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $2.99 per month and EncryptIt VPN sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
