# MindBack vs MindNote

The clearest difference is update cadence: MindBack at every 3 days against MindNote's every 2 weeks. MindNote's advantage is device support (3 vs 1) and iOS requirement (15 vs 17.0). On price, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. MindBack sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per 7 days and MindNote sells 2 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

MindBack ships an update every 3 days, MindNote every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 8, 2026 and September 23, 2026 respectively.
