# Pedometer vs StepHub

The clearest difference is update cadence: Pedometer at every 5 days against StepHub's every 2 weeks. Pedometer also leads on iOS requirement (14.0 vs 18.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Pedometer sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month and StepHub sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $7.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Pedometer ships an update every 5 days, StepHub every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 25, 2026 respectively.
