# Card Connect vs Spider Stack

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Spider Stack at none against Card Connect's 11. Spider Stack also leads on review sentiment (61% vs 26%). Card Connect's advantage is update cadence (fortnightly vs every 2 months) and chart position (#38 vs unranked). On price, rating, ratings volume and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Card Connect sells 11 one-off in-app purchases. Spider Stack asks for nothing beyond the download.

Card Connect holds the better App Store score, 4.9 against 4.7. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 6.7K and 16K respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 26% of Card Connect's written reviews are positive against 61% of Spider Stack's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Card Connect ships an update fortnightly, Spider Stack every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 20, 2026 and October 21, 2026 respectively.
