# EpicDraft vs SFD

The clearest difference is update cadence: SFD at every 8 days against EpicDraft's every 2 weeks. EpicDraft's advantage is iOS requirement (15.0 vs 17.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. EpicDraft sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $19.99 per 3 months and SFD sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

EpicDraft ships an update every 2 weeks, SFD every 8 days. The most recent releases landed on October 6, 2026 and October 10, 2026 respectively.
