# Time Template vs Self

The clearest difference is ads: Self at none against Time Template's shown. Self also leads on update cadence (every 6 days vs every 2 months). On price, in-app purchases, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Time Template sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $4.99 per month and Self sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Time Template ships an update every 2 months, Self every 6 days. Both last shipped on October 30, 2026.
