# GZTV vs Lightning Player Pro

The clearest difference is update cadence: Lightning Player Pro at every 5 days against GZTV's fortnightly. On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. GZTV sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per 7 days and Lightning Player Pro sells 6 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

GZTV ships an update fortnightly, Lightning Player Pro every 5 days. The most recent releases landed on October 7, 2026 and October 10, 2026 respectively.
