# Soonish App vs Yet Another Countdown

The clearest difference is ads: Soonish App at none against Yet Another Countdown's shown. Yet Another Countdown's advantage is update cadence (weekly vs every 6 months) and iOS requirement (15.0 vs 17.6). On price, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Soonish App sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Yet Another Countdown sells 2 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Soonish App ships an update every 6 months, Yet Another Countdown weekly. The most recent releases landed on October 11, 2026 and October 13, 2026 respectively.
