# Rips by Triumph vs CatchBack

The clearest difference is ratings volume: Rips by Triumph at 240K against CatchBack's 1K. Rips by Triumph also leads on chart position (#11 vs unranked). CatchBack's advantage is monetization model (ad-supported vs free with in-app purchases). On price, rating, review sentiment and update cadence there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.7 for Rips by Triumph against 4.6 for CatchBack. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Rips by Triumph has 240K ratings behind it against 1K, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 64% of Rips by Triumph's written reviews are positive against 59% of CatchBack's.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly weekly. Both last shipped on October 22, 2026.
