# Radiant vs ForgeEQ

The clearest difference is monetization model: ForgeEQ at free with in-app purchases against Radiant's subscription. ForgeEQ also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.8). Radiant's advantage is ratings volume (956 vs 1) and update cadence (every 10 days vs every 6 weeks). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Radiant sells 14 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per 7 days and ForgeEQ sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $12.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

ForgeEQ holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Radiant has 956 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Radiant ships an update every 10 days, ForgeEQ every 6 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 16, 2026 and October 1, 2026 respectively.
