# FluPlayer vs StreamLink

The clearest difference is rating: FluPlayer at 2.9 against StreamLink's 2.0. FluPlayer also leads on monetization model (free with in-app purchases vs subscription) and ratings volume (98 vs 8). StreamLink's advantage is chart position (#203 vs unranked) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 15.6). On price, review sentiment, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. FluPlayer sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per 7 days and StreamLink sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

FluPlayer holds the better App Store score, 2.9 against 2.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: FluPlayer has 98 ratings behind it against 8, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews split almost evenly too, at 0% and 0% positive.

FluPlayer ships an update every 9 days, StreamLink weekly. The most recent releases landed on October 15, 2026 and October 13, 2026 respectively.
