# FluPlayer vs Jotted

FluPlayer and Jotted both sit at 2.9 stars, but that hides the real split: 14% of Jotted's written reviews are positive against 0% of FluPlayer's. FluPlayer's advantage is ratings volume (101 vs 18). On price, rating, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. FluPlayer sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per 7 days and Jotted sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 2.9 for FluPlayer against 3.1 for Jotted. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: FluPlayer has 101 ratings behind it against 18, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 0% of FluPlayer's written reviews are positive against 14% of Jotted's.

FluPlayer ships an update every 9 days, Jotted every 10 days. The most recent releases landed on October 28, 2026 and October 31, 2026 respectively.
