# Orbits vs Briefday

The clearest difference is rating: Orbits at 4.6 against Briefday's 4.0. Orbits also leads on ratings volume (37 vs 1). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Orbits sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per 7 days and Briefday sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Orbits holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 4.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Orbits has 37 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Orbits ships an update weekly, Briefday fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 28, 2026 and October 23, 2026 respectively.
