# Orbits vs FreedomTimeCard

The clearest difference is rating: FreedomTimeCard at 5.0 against Orbits's 4.5. FreedomTimeCard also leads on monetization model (free vs freemium). Orbits's advantage is ratings volume (34 vs 4). On price, review sentiment, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Orbits sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per 7 days and FreedomTimeCard sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

FreedomTimeCard holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Orbits has 34 ratings behind it against 4, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews split almost evenly too, at 100% and 100% positive.

Orbits ships an update weekly, FreedomTimeCard every 4 days. The most recent releases landed on October 25, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
