# DayDrift vs Decision Timer

The clearest difference is update cadence: DayDrift at weekly against Decision Timer's every 3 weeks. Decision Timer's advantage is iOS requirement (15.1 vs 17.6). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. DayDrift sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $1.99 per year and Decision Timer sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

DayDrift ships an update weekly, Decision Timer every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 4, 2026 and September 29, 2026 respectively.
