# Echo Beach vs Rivet 02

The clearest difference is price: Rivet 02 at Free against Echo Beach's $9.99. Rivet 02 also leads on rating (5.0 vs 3.8). Echo Beach's advantage is ratings volume (12 vs 1). On update cadence, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Rivet 02 is free to download; Echo Beach costs $9.99 up front. Echo Beach sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Rivet 02 sells 3 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Rivet 02 holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 3.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Echo Beach has 12 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly every 5 days. The most recent releases landed on October 25, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
