# Echo Beach vs Perc8

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Perc8 at 100% against Echo Beach's 55%. Perc8 also leads on in-app purchases (none vs 1) and price ($6.99 vs $9.99). Echo Beach's advantage is rating (3.8 vs 3.3) and update cadence (every 5 days vs every 3 weeks). On ads, monetization model, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Echo Beach costs $9.99 and Perc8 $6.99 up front. Echo Beach sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Perc8 asks for nothing beyond the download.

Echo Beach holds the better App Store score, 3.8 against 3.3. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 12 and 3 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 55% of Echo Beach's written reviews are positive against 100% of Perc8's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Echo Beach ships an update every 5 days, Perc8 every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 7, 2026 and October 2, 2026 respectively.
