# Lilo vs Critterlet

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Critterlet at 100% against Lilo's 68%. Lilo's advantage is ratings volume (4.7K vs 9) and rating (4.7 vs 4.4). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Lilo sells 5 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month and Critterlet sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Lilo holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 4.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Lilo has 4.7K ratings behind it against 9, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 68% of Lilo's written reviews are positive against 100% of Critterlet's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Lilo ships an update every 10 days, Critterlet weekly. Both last shipped on November 5, 2026.
