# OpenTracker vs RoadLog

The clearest difference is update cadence: OpenTracker at every 3 months against RoadLog's every 7 months. On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. OpenTracker sells 7 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month and RoadLog sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

OpenTracker ships an update every 3 months, RoadLog every 7 months. The most recent releases landed on October 12, 2026 and October 10, 2026 respectively.
