# Control vs Cloaked

The clearest difference is rating: Control at 5.0 against Cloaked's 4.2. Control also leads on update cadence (every 5 days vs fortnightly). Cloaked's advantage is ratings volume (17 vs 3). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Control holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.2. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Cloaked has 17 ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Control ships an update every 5 days, Cloaked fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 30, 2026 and October 31, 2026 respectively.
