# Endless Summer vs AfterFace

The clearest difference is update cadence: Endless Summer at every 2 days against AfterFace's every 5 weeks. Endless Summer also leads on ratings volume (25 vs 1). AfterFace's advantage is iOS requirement (15.0 vs 18.5). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Endless Summer sells 3 one-off in-app purchases and AfterFace sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.9 for Endless Summer against 5.0 for AfterFace. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Endless Summer has 25 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Endless Summer ships an update every 2 days, AfterFace every 5 weeks. The most recent releases landed on September 30, 2026 and October 5, 2026 respectively.
