# DirectionKit vs TriNav

The clearest difference is ads: DirectionKit at none against TriNav's shown. TriNav's advantage is update cadence (every 4 days vs every 5 weeks). On price, in-app purchases, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. DirectionKit sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per 7 days and TriNav sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

DirectionKit ships an update every 5 weeks, TriNav every 4 days. The most recent releases landed on October 30, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
