# WuCai vs Scanote

The clearest difference is update cadence: WuCai at every 3 days against Scanote's every 4 months. WuCai also leads on device support (3 vs 1) and iOS requirement (15.0 vs 17.6). On price, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. WuCai sells 4 one-off in-app purchases and Scanote sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

WuCai ships an update every 3 days, Scanote every 4 months. The most recent releases landed on October 26, 2026 and October 28, 2026 respectively.
