# Ai DnD vs XP Pocket

The clearest difference is rating: XP Pocket at 5.0 against Ai DnD's 2.0. Ai DnD's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and ratings volume (5 vs 1). On price, update cadence, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Ai DnD sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month and XP Pocket sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $2.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

XP Pocket holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 2.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Ai DnD has 5 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Ai DnD ships an update every 6 days, XP Pocket every 9 days. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and November 1, 2026 respectively.
